Vitra Health

Gives Back

Our commitment to caregivers and the communities we serve is at the heart of our mission. Through partnerships with organizations across Massachusetts, we work to give back to those who need it most. Together, we can strengthen the support we provide to families—and extend that impact even further.

Supporting Our Community

Introducing Vitra Plus

This quarter, we launched Vitra Plus, our new podcast series hosted by Krystal Troncoso. Episode 1 introduces who we are and why we do this work. Episode 2 breaks down the Adult Foster Care program, what it is, who qualifies, and how to get started. If you know someone who could benefit from this program, these are worth a listen.

Holiday Meals for One Hundred families

The holidays are a time of giving. In partnership with St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Vitra Health distributed 100 Thanksgiving meals to families in Jamaica Plain.

Over 900 servings of food were shared with community members.

Active In Our Community

Empowering Women, Strengthening Communities

Vitra Health was proud to participate in the XX International Women in Solidarity Network Conference, hosted by the Dominican Development Center in Roxbury. Our team spoke at the event and connected with over 300 attendees, sharing how our Adult Foster Care program supports immigrant families across Massachusetts.

This conference is the only women’s conference in the region led by and for immigrant women, and we are honored to be part of it.

Supporting the American Diabetes Association

Nearly 1 in 2 U.S. adults has diabetes or prediabetes. We support the American Diabetes Association to keep our communities informed and connected to resources for prevention and care.

Together, we help families catch diabetes early, manage it with confidence, and live longer, healthier lives.

A Working Group for Adult Foster Care

Vitra Health is proud to support the Pedro Martinez Foundation, whose work empowers thousands of Latin American youth in Massachusetts and the Dominican Republic through education, health, and sports programs.

More than 49,000 young people have been reached by PMF’s life-changing initiatives in the past year.

Our CEO, Lorena Silva, and COO, Virginia Brackett advocated for legislation that allows spouses to receive payment when caring for their loved ones. This bill would change MA state laws and allow spouses to be paid caregivers..
